Liquidated Ascertained Damages (LAD): Learn how to calculate your LAD entitlement as clarified by the Federal Court in PJD Regency. We will also discuss how the Covid-19 Act impacts your rights and remedies.
Defects Claim: is a formal request for repairs or compensation due to construction or workmanship issues discovered after moving into a new property. Common defects include structural issues, water leaks, electrical faults, and finishes not meeting expected standards.
Perfection of Transfer (POT) & Memorandum of Transfer (MOT): Understand the importance of completing the MOT and POT processes to ensure your name is correctly registered on your property’s title and the risks of incomplete transfers.
Developer Misrepresentation: Learn how to safeguard yourself from misrepresentations by developers, and what legal recourse you have if the property or project doesn't meet expectations as promised.
Lawful Termination of Contract: Should a homebuyer be facing an alleged breach by the Developer, so long as the breach is a breach of the fundamental term of the contract, the homebuyer shall be entitled to lawfully terminate the contract and claim for all monies incurred.
